Salihorsk PEC No. 19 formed entirely of teachers and headed by schoolmaster
This was found out by the representative of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee Leanid Markhotka during the monitoring of the early voting.
“All in all, the commission consists of 11 people and is located in the building of secondary school No. 1. Its chairperson is the schoolmaster, Valiantsina Kashtalyan. I also found out that only one of the commissioners is probably not working in this school – he is a retired teacher. The others are teachers and one librarian. All of them are subordinated to Valiantsina Kashtalyan at work,” says the observer.
It's worth noting that all these people were formally nominated to the PEC by various pro-governmental organizations and collection of people's signatures.
