Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections

The campaign of election observation during the 2015 presidential election is carried out by the Human Right Center "Viasna" and the RHRPA “Belarusian Helsinki Committee”. The campaign is aimed at evaluating the election from the viewpoint of the Belarusian eletoral legislation and international standards of free and democratic elections, as well as informing the Belarusian public and international community about the progress of the election and results of observation.

Zhana Shumskaya, master of school No. 22, chairperson of precinct election commission No. 33 in the Lieninski district of Hrodna, post at the polling station the protocols of voting that are filled in the wrong way.

As it can be seen on the photo, these protocols aren't properly signed by either her or the secretary of the PEC. For unknown reasons, she signs the protocols on the reverse side. Moreover, Zhana Shumskaya every day refuses to tell the observers of the number of elects, registered at the precinct.
