Human Rights Defenders for Free Elections

The campaign of election observation during the 2015 presidential election is carried out by the Human Right Center "Viasna" and the RHRPA “Belarusian Helsinki Committee”. The campaign is aimed at evaluating the election from the viewpoint of the Belarusian eletoral legislation and international standards of free and democratic elections, as well as informing the Belarusian public and international community about the progress of the election and results of observation.

As reported by an independent observer Nadzeya Shkadun, the campaigning poster hangs at the informational stand located inside the polling station, side by side with information about all four presidential candidates.

The campaigning poster depicts Lukashenka against the background of a collage and his electoral slogan “For Future of Independent Belarus!”. Polling station No. 42 is located in gymnasium No. 3 in Mahilioŭ.

Facts of campaigning for Lukashenka were also registered at polling station No. 72. Observers are compiling complaints about it.
