Long-term observers of OSCE visit Biaroza

36 long-term observers of the OSCE have arrived in Belarus to monitor the presidential elections. Six of them are in the Brest region – in Brest, Pinsk and Baranavičy.

However, they don't confine themselves to monitoring the elections only in large cities. On September 9, two LTOs, David Godfrey and Christian Keilbach, paid a visit to Biaroza, where they had meetings with the authorities and independent observers.
About 400 STOs from 57 countries will come to Belarus, some 30-40 of them will observe the elections in the Brest region. All international observers, both STOs and LTOs, will observe the opening of the polling stations, the voting, the closing of the polling stations and the counting of the votes.

Biaroza authorities assured the OSCE observers that the many electors would come to the polling stations and the turnout would be high.
