Mahilioŭ Regional Election Commission confesses that signatures for Lukashenka were collected at city enterprisess

This is stated in the response to Aliaksei Paulouski, given by the chair of the commission, Valery Berastau. However, there it is stated that the signatures were collected not in working hours, without any coercion, and by members of the initiative group of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

“The reply of the chair of Mahilioŭ Regional Election Commission Valery Berastau is rather interesting. First, he confirms the fact of collection of signatures at Mahilioŭ enterprises. Secondly, he states that it was done by members of Lukashenka's electoral team.

That's why I have two questions: what do the workers do at plants after work? And why it wasn't allowed to collect signatures for other potential candidates there?” commented Mr. Paulouski.

Therefore, A. Paulouski filed an appeal to the Central Election Commission, asking to withdraw
the signatures, collected in support of Aliaksandr Lukashenka at the enterprises of Mahilioŭ.

Let us remind that in Mahilioŭ human rights activists, as well as collectors of signatures, recorded dozens of cases where the collection of signatures for Aliaksandr Lukashenka was carried out at enterprises in workplaces, under pressure and by persons who weren't members of the initiative group of the incumbent president.
