Mazyr district: political parties represented by pro-government Communists
Today’s meeting of the Mazyr district executive committee formed local precinct election commissions. According to observer Uladzimir Tseliapun, who was present at the meeting, among the political parties the pro-government Communist Party managed to win most seats on the commissions (25 people nominated, 21 included), as well as the Republican Party of Labor and Justice (43 nominated, 26 included). “It is interesting that there is an office of such a party, the Republican Party of Labor and Justice, which is never seen between the elections,” said the observer.
Five members of the Fair World party were nominated to local PECs, but only one was included. The rest of the PEC members are representatives of the pro-government civil society organizations: Belaya Rus, the Belarusian National Youth Union, Veterans’ Union, Women's Union, the Union of Officers, the Red Cross and so on.
