Employees of state-owned enterprise in Bialyničy forced to collect signatures for Mikalai Ulakhovich
Employees of the Bialyničy-based consumer cooperative have been ordered to collect signatures for the nomination of presidential contender Mikalai Ulakhovich, chairman of the Belarusian Patriotic Party, supreme ataman of the NGO "Belarusian Cossacks".
According to information obtained from unofficial sources, on August 19 top managers of the government-owned enterprise were invited to the regional office in Mahilioŭ, where they were ordered to urgently step up the collection of signatures for the nomination of Mikalai Ulakhovich. On the same day, employees were forced to sign for the future presidential candidate. Moreover, signatures were collected by persons who are not members of his nomination group. The collection of signatures was carried out in the workplace of potential voters.
Mikalai Ulakhovich currently works as deputy chairman of the Minsk regional consumer cooperatives’ union.
