According to the workers of the plant "Mahilioŭkhimvalakno" (“Mahilioŭ Chemical Fiber”), the collection of signatures was organized on July 23. Before that, the heads of all departments of the enterprise told the workers to come to work with passports, as signatures in support of the candidacy of Aliaksandr Lukashenka were being collected.

The workers also point out that signatures were collected only during working hours (which is banned by the law). According to information received, the city authorities decided to collect signatures at enterprises in Kastryčnicki district and by visits to people's apartments – in Lieninski district.

At first the people didn't hurry to put their signatures. When the leadership of the enterprised noticed it, it used the administrative resource, and the people started coming more actively. For registering all these people in the signature sheets the administration used some workers of the enterprise who weren't members of the electoral team of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

“When I signed for Lukashenka, the signature sheets weren't filled properly. I wasn't shown any IDs of members of the electoral team of Lukashenka. The name of the person who collected the signatures wasn't put in the signature sheet, either,” said a worker of the enterprise.

Meanwhile, workers of "Mahilioŭkhimvalakno" wonder who else they could sign for and why the signatures for other contenders aren't collected at the enterprise. They haven't received any clear answer so far.

It's worth noting that more than 6,000 people work at "Mahilioŭkhimvalakno", which is the largest enterprise in the city.
