Drahičyn: authorities fail to announce list of prohibited campaigning locations
According to the schedule of the election campaign, local executive and administrative bodies should have been no later than on July 17 announced the list of places where it is forbidden to hold pickets in order to collect signatures in support of a candidate for President.
However, it is still unknown whether such a decision has been taken by the Drahičyn executive committee. The official web page of the local executive authority on elections says nothing about this year’s campaigning restrictions.
There is no information about the decision of the executive committee on the website of the local government-run newspaper Drahičynski viesnik. By the way, the online version of this periodical ignores the topic of presidential elections, failing to post a single article on the important political event.
